For four generations and nearly 50 years, Honda's Acty has been one of Japan's most popular Kei workhorses. The second-generation model was sold from 1988 through 1999 (or 2001 in van form), and could ordered with both rear or four-wheel drive; a very limited run of 6-wheelers was also made. The "Attack" model features a unique transmission with an ultra-low gear for steep inclines or heavy loads and a locking differential.
Power comes from a 656cc inline-3, rated at about 38 horsepower and 40 lb-ft of torque. Output is sent to all four wheels via a 4-speed manual transmission with an auxiliary ultra-low crawler gear.
