About this truck
This Hijet is equipped with a 4-speed manual transmission.
This is a right-hand-drive, Japanese-market van that's titled in Maryland. Reportedly imported earlier in 2024, it's equipped with a metric instrument cluster and its five-digit odometer displays about 85,600 kilometers, which represents approximately 53,200 miles.
Factory equipment includes 12-inch steel wheels, cloth and vinyl upholstery, manual windows, a heater, and an AM radio. The selling dealer reports no modifications.
Daihatsu built the seventh-generation Hijet from 1986 to 1994. Offered in numerous people- and cargo-carrying configurations, it complied with Japanese kei car regulations that dictated its size and engine displacement. Daihatsu mounted the 3-cylinder beneath the front seats to reduce the model's length and 1990 brought a bigger engine.
Power comes from a 659cc 3-cylinder engine, rated at about 42 horsepower and 41 lb-ft of torque. It spins the rear wheels via a 4-speed manual transmission.

Every Keibid listing is reviewed by our team, but the photos and details come from the seller — so use them as a guide, not a guarantee. It's up to you to confirm the truck's condition, history, and any known issues, and to make sure it can be registered and driven where you live. And keep in mind: bids are binding, so once you place one it can't be withdrawn.
Vehicle payment is settled directly between buyer and seller after the auction. Keibid collects only the 5% buyer fee (capped at $1,000). Interstate transport quotes are arranged by the buyer.
