Suzuki Carry
The most common kei truck in the world. Parts are everywhere, the layout is simple, and the rear-mounted engine is famously durable. A great first kei truck.
Honda Acty
Honda’s mid-mounted engine gives the Acty a slightly better ride and a higher-revving, smoother motor. The 4WD “Attack” and “Town” trims are sought after by enthusiasts.
Daihatsu Hijet
Often the most refined cabin of the three, with available “Jumbo” extended cabs for more legroom. Strong 4WD systems make it a favorite for snow and farm work.
Which should you buy?
